Dove Review

A triple blessing! This set features three movies: “The Perfect Stranger”, “Another Perfect Stranger” and the wonderful Christmas story “The Perfect Gift.”

In “The Perfect Stranger” Nikki calls a man’s bluff only to become the one who is surprised at who is coming to dinner! It happens to be the Lord. This is a thought provoking film.

In “Another Perfect Stranger” Nikki’s daughter Sarah thinks her mother has lost all her marbles when she mentions having had dinner with the Lord. However, when she heads to college she soon has a mysterious travel guest who enlightens her in ways she never would have dreamed. Once again the story of “what if” comes to the screen with all the questions that we might have if we were in the presence of our Lord. This movie has a lesson about how much God loves us and how He sees us.

Finally, in “The Perfect Gift” a mysterious man named Jess helps a disillusioned minister, a worn-out mother and a bratty school girl. It’s a wonderful Christmas feature. This is a wonderful Christmas film that will encourage people to look at the real definition of Christmas and the reason we celebrate this time of the year. Like so many other Jefferson Moore movies, this one is truly enjoyable for the entire family. Max is a young girl who just happens to have a birthday on the same day that Jesus was born, but she does not like it. She also is not happy that her school assignment is to write about Christmas. As Jess helps Max with her essay, he also helps the community, her mother and the assistant minister see how important God’s perfect gift to us was, the gift of love. It also takes a look at what is happening in the world today at this very special holiday season. That Christmas is a time for kindness and love, not gifts and shopping. And that people need to stand up for what they believe in and not let others that do not believe bully us in hiding the real reason we celebrate Christmas.

Enjoy this trio of terrific movies, all in one set. This set has earned our Dove Seal for all ages.
