Dove Review

This movie is about a young woman taken in by a man that isn’t all he seems to be. Sarah, a filmmaker, meets a man named Reece and falls for him. She didn’t trust men in the past because of her father walking out on her when she was a child but Reece takes an interest in her and is kind to her. However, Reece winds up marrying another woman yet wants Sarah on the side. She has an affair with him for a while but then feels guilty. Her friends warn her about continuing it. Will she put a stop to it? Will she do the right thing?

The movie features some amazing New York scenes, terrific cinematography, and a wonderful theme of redemption. Angela Lin plays Sarah and does a terrific job as does Erik McKay as Reece. This film offers hope to those who need to leave the past behind and move forward. We don’t want to give the ending away, but we’ll say that Sarah winds up looking to God for help. We are pleased to award this inspiring movie our “Family-Approved” Seal for ages twelve plus. “The Father’s Love” shows that tough choices can be made!
