Dove Review

“Big Spender” is a movie about a horse and also a young man. They find themselves put together and both get a second chance at life. Eddie has made a lot of mistakes in his life that brought him into the prison system. Big Spender is a race horse that seems to never win a race. So when this horse is found in bad condition and brought to the horse retirement home, the only one that can get him to eat is Eddie, who is part of the prison work force there on the farm.

Sometimes there are unforeseen things that happen in people’s lives that can change them and guide them in the right direction. Eddie finds that he has to become responsible and have a good job to take care of his son when he gets out. The wonderful horse gives him a new look on life along with an offer that would help him in his goal.

We are proud to award this entertaining movie about improving one’s life the Dove “Family-Approved” Seal for 12+.
