Dove Review

When James Fitzgerald passes away his only living relatives are his nephew Pete and his son Bobby. Along with Pete’s mother, they move into Jim’s house. Pete is getting a new start after he had lost his job and a few years before lost his wife. Now the three of them along with the young neighbor Missy decide to remodel the house into a bed and breakfast inn. But little do they know who else occupies this home.

Pete’s mom is from the old country and talks about the “little people” but Pete does not believe the folk lore. Bobby on the other hand has an encounter and gets to visit the Dwegon’s town and they in turn help the Fitzgerald’s with their dream of remodeling by giving the family gold that these charming creatures store. All goes well until a couple of thieves come to stay.

This animated film is filled with fantasy and charm as the Irish family and their little companions work together to battle the thieves and other bad guys on both sides as even the Dwegons have a few evil ones among them. It is entertaining and filled with adventure. We are pleased to award this cute film our Dove “Family-Approved” Seal for all ages.
