Dove Review

“JK’s House” is an educational learning experience for the young children in your family; in fact, there is something to learn for everyone who sees the film. JK lives with her mom and sister, and her grandparents are always close by. Her mom teaches the girls many important values that are played out in this film.

JK thinks her mom is a little boring with all her rules, but learns why they are important. She learns a lesson about trusting her friends when she doesn’t understand why they are keeping a secret; turns out they were planning a surprise birthday party for her. She also finds out that being responsible for your friend’s actions along with your own has consequences when things go wrong. And, finally, there is the knowledge that being a leader in the right things is better than leading in the wrong direction; and also to never give up on something you want to do.

The Dove Approved Seal for all ages is awarded to “JK’s House.”
