Dove Review

“The 12 Days of Christmas” is a warm and wonderful animated movie to enjoy with the entire family. There are delightful characters such as Hollyberry and Princess Silverbelle, not to mention a conceited character named Sir Carolboomer. Sir Carolboomer wants to obtain the princess’s Christmas list and rides his squire, Hollyberry, to get it for him. His motives are not pure, but poor Hollyberry is a good and loyal servant and the princess picks up on this fact. The gifts include turtle doves, six geese a laying, five golden rings, and so forth.

The animation is terrific and the ending is delightful and includes a nice surprise. The feature ends with a nice biography of writer Romeo Muller, who wrote over twenty television specials including “Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer” and “Frosty the Snowman.” “The 12 Days of Christmas” will be warmly enjoyed by your entire family.
