Dove Review

“Soul Survivors: Dating Angels” hits a home run in delivering the message that love is what it’s all about! Jack and Tanya are angels in training, helped by senior angel Catherine. They get involved in real-life situations, such as helping a woman named Megan who is lonely and hopes to date, and a couple that is stressed due to living in the wife’s parents’ home. The husband needs a better-paying job. The angels help her get her husband on a date night to put romance back in their marriage. The angels become involved in problematic situations so Jack is told he can be a “fool for God.”

This film is based on true stories and deals with issues such as loneliness and money struggles. The higher power of God is mentioned, as is that people need to remember that God’s love is available to them. He is referred to as the “Big Boss” and these angels work for Him. The solutions do come, such as the husband landing a better-paying job. We are pleased to award this imaginative movie our Dove “Family-Approved” Seal for ages twelve plus. This movie shows what the amazing power of love can do.
