High school senior Greg Cima arrives home to break the news to his mom and little sister, he's finally made the football team. He's definitely following in the cleats of his father, a former NFL pro. But his mother has news of her own. The family is pulling up stakes once again and moving from Las Vegas to Kanab, a small town in Southern Utah, near where Greg's father, now serving a prison sentence, has recently been transferred. Greg greets the news a just another in a long string of disappointments. He arrives in Kanab angry and bitter. However, the mysterious appearance of an old Native American Indian, Wa Tho Huck soon causes things to change. Greg discovers that Huck is the ghost of Jim Thorpe, the legendary athlete who died decades ago! When Greg Cima is unfairly cut from the high school football team, Wa Tho Huck offers to coach Greg. In return, Greg must use his skills to capture a wild white stallion (Huck's means to enter the spirit world).
