Dove Review

The wilderness of Alaska presents people with many dangers. Thankfully the Coast Guard Alaska is on call to help whenever anyone’s in trouble. This documentary series follows the Coast Guard on dangerous missions in Alaska, where they have to help people in water, on land, in a plane crash, and lost in the wilderness. They often have to make life-or-death decisions, specifically regarding what supplies they will need in each moment, what kind of rescue they’ll have to make and whether the weather will cooperate in the circumstances. The Coast Guard is always a sigh of relief for people in dire straits.

Like previous seasons of “Coast Guard Alaska,” this series portrays the importance of a job that requires bravery and wisdom in the worst situations. Members of the Coast Guard share their thoughts regarding their everyday duties and life in Alaska, including their interactions with the community and how they handle job-related stress.

“Coast Guard Alaska – Season 3” will have you on the edge of your seat. We are very proud to award it with the Dove “Family Approved” Seal for ages 12-plus.
