Frankie and Hazel

Showtime premieres “Frankie and Hazel” 10/8/00 at 8:00 PM (ET/PT). This family film concerns two exceptional 12-year-old best friends growing up in Percaucus, New Jersey. One of the girls loves ballet and baseball, the other loves history and politics. While Hazel (Ingrid Uribe) will run for mayor, Frankie (Mischa Barton) will audition for the coveted City Ballet scholarship. But Frankie also wants to play ball, a dream she believes she must keep secret from her domineering grandmother.
