Who Gets the House?

Don and Rebecca's marriage is literally careening towards divorce, as their four children watch them grow further apart by not communicating and focusing entirely on their careers. The children know their parents love one another, and they unite to form "Operation Get Together." A well-choreographed anniversary dinner doesn't do the trick; their best hope is in a wacky science fair experiment, involving a clever voice-altering apparatus. Even radio talk-show host Dr. Nora tries to crack the code of silence between Mom and Dad. Despite everyone's best efforts, only Don and Rebecca can let go of past offenses, restore their lines of communication and reconstruct the most important thing they ever built - their marriage.

Dove Review

Feature Films for Families has given us a lively, but at times improbable story. I have to call it another winner for them, because the action moves along, with a story line that holds your interest, while showing the disintegration of a family. All the Feature Films for Families have a Parents’ Guide on the back of the video jacket sleeve, presenting good questions for parents to discuss after viewing with their children. I thoroughly enjoyed watching these neat kids do everything in their power to bring mom and dad back to where they belong: at home, talking with one another and just loving their children. This video could prick the conscience of some parents who exist on over-drive!
