Wild Safari (IMAX 3D)

The world's first wildlife adventure in three dimensions! Africa's most exciting animals, the elephant, the Cape buffalo, the rhino, the leopard and the lion, known as the "Big Five," have long been considered the continent's most dangerous animals. Smashing the boundaries for the giant screen, nWave Pictures creates a new cinematic experience for viewers by putting them in the 'passenger seat' for a South African safari.

Dove Review

This fantastic documentary about South Africa brings you along for the ride as the camera is positioned behind the jeep’s driver, who happens to be our tour guide, Liesl. The 3D effect is wonderful as the viewer truly feels as if he/she is riding along. The animals which we see range from elephants to lions to leopards and giraffes. There is one scene in which a male leopard covers a female leopard for the act of mating, but the scene abruptly ends right there. This film should be fine for every age group in the family. There is only the mention of violence, with one scene showing some lions eating an already dead animal corpse. As the viewer travels through the country of South Africa, bumping blades of grass as the camera brings us up close, the appreciation of this country’s beauty will grow.
