Dove Review

This film uses near-death experiences to examine the question of whether there is life after death. Two Christian men are central to the DVD, and they both vividly described personally experiencing both Heaven and Hell. Both men emphasize the need to forgive those whom they felt wronged them, admit all past sins, and ask God’s forgiveness, in order to be accepted into heaven. Due to the focus on death, the potential for eternal suffering, and the visual depictions of Hell used throughout, this film could be frightening for young children. “The Lazarus Phenomenon” is approved for ages 12 and older.
