This film did a wonderful job of telling the story of Jesus and his last few hours before he was sent to the cross to die for our sins. The film includes Mary’s anointing of Jesus, Judas accepting silver to betray Jesus, Peter’s denial foretold and coming true, and Jesus’ crucifixion. They did a good job of helping the viewer understand how Jesus, Judas and Peter all felt when the betrayal and denials took place.The animated series has a film called He is Risen” which would also be a good follow up to this film as it tells of Jesus’ resurrection.

The producers did a good job at making this film interesting for people of all ages. This is a short film so children can watch and learn about the Bible without losing interest. This would also make a great teaching tool for churches. ” The Animated Stories From The New Testament” series is a great way to teach your children about God and the Bible and it opens the door for your children to start asking questions. This DVD is Dove approved for all ages.
