Dove Review

This amazing documentary takes you on a trip of Highway 61 in Northern Minnesota from the Canada/ Lake Superior border to the southern border of Minnesota near the town of Winona. Here it crosses over the Mississippi River into Wisconsin. Travel this scenic route of Highway 61 as you discover the history of the road as it was in the 1929 WPI Road Guide Book. See the scenery of today, hear the stories from the historians, view old pictures of the way the road once was and enjoy the tales of the great sites that once stood on some of the land on the road side. Enjoy it as the relatives and descendent’s relate the stories from their ancestors concerning the original inhabitants of the area.

Watching this film will make you want to gather the family into the car and travel the highway to see it for yourself. This film is awarded our Dove Family-Approved” Seal for 12+.
