Hidden Places

Widowed with two children and beginning to lose her faith, Eliza Wyatt (Emmy-nominated Sydney Penny, "All My Children") must bring in the harvest before the bank forecloses on her family's home. Just when things can't get any worse, fate brings along hope in the form of Gabe Harper (Jason Gedrick, "Windfall"), a handsome, down-on-his-luck veteran. Together Eliza and Gabe overcome the odds to save Wyatt Orchard with the help of stubborn but lovable Aunt Batty (Academy Award-winner Shirley Jones in her Emmy-nominated performance) and a few generous townsfolk, Hidden Places is a triumphant tale of faith, family and commitment.

Dove Review

This is a moving drama that exhibits the theme that when people have a need God always comes through with the help to satisfy it. After losing her husband, Eliza Wyatt takes in a drifter to help with the harvest. As the two of them become closer, the question of whether we are products of our past, or projections of our future, comes into play. When faced with the prospect of losing the farm to her creditors, Eliza soon learns that prayer changes things.

This is a faith-filled movie that will move its audience gently through the emotional cycle and we are pleased to award “Hidden Places” our Dove “Family-Approved” Seal for all ages.
