Dove Review

These Monster Truck adventures are not to be missed! This DVD contains seven episodes and each one deals with a lesson which will help children; each one is portrayed with the fun of watching the monster trucks, their races and their human-like characteristics.

In “Rebel Rover” we learn a lesson about teasing as LT and Jose tease Meteor that he is the teacher’s pet. We learn that his teacher always picks him first because Meteor needs a bit of extra attention in a difficult subject for him. Punctuality is a topic featured in the episode as well.

Other lessons which are taught are humility in the episode titled “Cheering Section” in which Junk Boy is a big fan of Crush Meister but LT is hurt when Junk Boy doesn’t cheer for his dad. A lesson in courtesy is taught in “Fast Friends” when Meteor welcomes LT and learns that Big Foot is his dad. He is a big fan of Big Foot and due to Meteor’s kindness it comes back his way. In “Tag Along” a lesson in patience is taught as LT is off to play but has to take care of his little sister that day. She embarrasses him at one point when she copies him but he is told his little sister admires him and looks up to him and then he sees things differently. In “Fender Bender” LT crashes into Boo Boo’s billboard and allows Jose to take the blame for it. He soon feels guilty and we have a lesson learned on forgiveness. The final two episodes are “Stomp, Honk, Rock, and Roll” which is a lesson about trusting God and “Monster Crush” which is a lesson about helping others.

There are plenty of scriptures to go around and these terrific episodes will both educate and entertain children everywhere. We are happy to award this DVD our Dove Seal for all ages.
