Dove Review

This is a tremendous DVD and a fantastic tool for educating people about Intelligent Design or in the belief of God as creator. Ray Comfort speaks with several people on the spot, including professors of universities and students on the street, and he makes some strong points. People who say they are atheists and believe in Darwin’s theory of Evolution are asked what observable evidence can they point to of a creature that has changed from its “kind?” No one can. One man mentions a fish that has changed a bit but Comfort points out it is still a fish, its “kind” has not changed. He points out to a woman that some things adapt but do not change their “kind”.

He makes one big point when he speaks of people being fallible. He asks a few people to spell the word “shop”. They do. Then he asks what you do at a green light and they reply, “Stop.” He points out that you actually go at a green light, you don’t stop. So the point of human fallibility is strongly made. He speaks of his own life-changing experience with God through Christ and several people admit to thinking about death and eternity.

This is a powerful tool which could be used in a youth group or a Sunday school class. Although it is not intended for the very young, as it features comments from a few people about struggling with lust, it is a wholesome production and we gladly award this DVD our Dove “Family-Approved” Seal for all ages. This could be a powerful teaching tool for kids to explain Creationism to them. This is an intelligently designed DVD! This one had me smiling several times. Ray Comfort is excellent at making people think about God, even when they don’t want to!
