Bite is a cockroach that lives in a computer processor with his friends, who one day falls in love with Licka and it is love at first sight. However, Licka is already in love with a Rhinoceros Beetle, Chuck. Bite must prove himself and survive the ongoing battle between the predator-like street pigeons and beetles.
This movie features some memorable characters including Bite the cockroach and Licka as well as Gale the mouse. The movie is a romantic story with plenty of action and a soccer match thrown in for good measure. One minor note is that in a few scenes the dialog was a bit difficult to hear and the music and background noise was a bit loud.
We are pleased to award this film our Dove Seal for all ages. Its theme is that underdogs can sometimes win. There is some fantasy-type violence such as a big bulb falling and hitting a bird in the head, but nothing major. Incidentally, the word "Kucaracha" refers to a type of soccer.
