Terry Botwick

 founded Thunderpoint Studios in March 2003 to finance and produce a portfolio of twenty theatrical movies predominantly targeted to PG13 and less restrictive audiences. Thunderpoint has recently entered into a partnership with John H. Williams (Shrek, Shrek 2) and his company, Vanguard.

A forward thinking executive, Terry has an eclectic resume of broad-ranging success within the entertainment industry.  He joined Big Idea in May 2001 as the President and Chief Operating Officer during which time he expanded the VeggieTales brand through book publishing, live entertainment, television and oversaw the marketing of Jonah, A VeggieTales Movie which grossed more than $25M at the domestic box office.

Terry also served as Senior Vice President for CBS Entertainment, overseeing all primetime series programming as well as that network’s special events such as the Grammy Awards, Tony Awards, Daytime and Primetime Emmy Awards. From 1992-1994, he was President of the worldwide television distribution and production company for the Hearst Corporation. Before being recruited by Hearst, Terry was part of the senior management team of the Family Channel from 1986-1992. He joined the company in its infancy while it was still called CBN Cable Network and was in less than 25 million homes. During his years with the network he participated in the renaming and repositioning of the network to the Family Channel, one of the leading cable programming services in the world.

Terry currently resides in Los Angeles with his wife and three sons
