This is one for the kids as some parents will find it to be slow going, although it may remind them of their own childhoods. During Christmas break some local kids break into two groups to fight a war and claim the top prize, a snow fort. A boy and girl discover young love for the first time and when one of the kid’s dog, Cleo, dies in a snow collapse accident at the fort during a simulated war, the kids begin to re-examine fighting a war. It should be noted that the dubbing for the film is not very good and the lip sync is off, which does somewhat impact the emotional elements of the film.
