This is a charming and remarkable DVD box set and although it contains volumes seven through twelve of this likable children’s show, it could be considered complete within itself because of the shear number of episodes contained in the volumes. This set has been restored and enhanced but the classic moments have not changed.
Volume seven also includes the 30-minute special “To the Rescue,” which first aired in 1975 and marked the end of the show’s original production run. On summer vacation at Roaring River Camp, Davey, Goliath, and friends lead an emergency rescue of a man and his daughter from a plane crash.
For many generations, Davey and Goliath have entertained families with stories which have something for everyone. Each episode portrays wholesome family values and faith. They are a charming duo. They face situations that will reveal to the audience an important lesson.
