The Wednesday Morning Breakfast Club

Newly-hired waitress, Megan, gets a taste of customer service when three elderly men walk into the restaurant one Wednesday morning. Crotchety, persnickety and eccentric, the three men give Megan a run for her money. In spite of initial impressions and the snide remarks of Martha, her co-waitress, Megan rolls up her sleeves and endeavors to be the best server possible for her three regular customers, and a slow but warm friendship blossoms.

Dove Review

As the years go by and we all get older we love to get together with our friends and reminisce about our life. This charming movie is about three elder men that go to the same restaurant, sit at the same table and order the same food every Wednesday. The trio have been friends for a long time. But when they get a new waitress she tries to make life a little easier for them each Wednesday.

As time goes by Megan comes to love the three, looks forward to seeing them and hearing their stories. But things change as in all our lives when friends pass away. Not only do the elderly men that are left behind feel the loss, but so do the employees of the cafe and they try to comfort one another the best way the can.

“The Wednesday Morning Breakfast Club” is a wonderful story that shows how we should appreciate the elderly around us as they will not always be here. Although they may be a little hard of hearing, cantankerous, and set in their ways, they are lovable and have important stories of their life that we will remember fondly as we share this story with them. We are proud to award this film the Dove “Family-Approved” Seal for all ages.
