Freedom Force

There is a plot under way to change the writings of famous authors to influence the course of history. Four kids are chosen to be the Freedom Force—a gang of unlikely heroes who travel through time to change the outcome of sacred stories. Their great adventure takes them to the deepest jungles, outer space, and underwater cities, but things go horribly wrong when a mad scientist tries to stop them. The kids have to battle cannibals, runaway hot air balloons, and a giant octopus before they can complete their quest and save the world from complete chaos!

Dove Review

Imagination is something everyone has, but some use it more than others. In this animated film an evil man tries to change the outcome of a great writer’s stories by taking the lead characters out of each tale. The author of these stories is the great Jules Verne. But a secret agency has created a machine that will send a young group of kids into his mind to “restart” his brain that will put everything back into the right order. The “Freedom Force” is a collection of four kids, each with a specific talent to help with the situation at hand.

The story is filled with the many interesting lessons that are brought to the viewers’ attention as the kids encounter the challenges that they meet. Some of the lessons that are portrayed in this film are as follows: bullying is not cool and using a gun is not a way to solve a problem; taking care of others and focusing on positive things around you.

“Freedom Force” is an animated adventure film that I believe will keep older children’s attention while focusing on the importance of using their imagination. We award this Movie the Dove “Family-Approved” Seal for 12+.
