This film will remind you of the “Home Alone” movie and it is certainly well done with funny, bumbling thieves. An actress named Sabrina takes time away from her movie-making career to focus on getting married. Her assistant, Terrance, is nonplussed about suddenly being unemployed and blames Sabrina for it. When Sabrina and her niece that she is raising, Lacey, travel to Saskatchewan for the nuptials, the assistant travels there too along with a friend named Louie with a plot to steal a valuable diamond Sabrina has, a gift from her late father.
While the babysitter, Krystal, watches the teen Lacey and her new stepbrother Josh, the thieves try to work it out to get the teens out of the house so they can steal the diamond. But with all the bumbling they do, the kids don’t have much to worry about.
We are happy to award this film our Dove Seal for all ages. It features the themes of companionship and overcoming life’s difficulties. It also features two dogs named Meatball and Cassie and we can humorously hear their thoughts.
