Dove Review

The classic tale based on J.M Barrieā€™s writings, “Peter Pan” is the story of a boy who wishes to stay young forever. Mix together an impish fairy, a little pixie dust and a villainous pirate for a rollicking adventure which, like Peter Pan, never grows old.

Peter visits the nursery where Wendy and her brothers are sleeping and convinces them to follow him to the enchanted world of Neverland where he hopes Wendy will become a mother to all of the Lost Boys who are unmistakably motherless! Peter Pan and his new friends encounter Indians, a croc with a ticking alarm clock inside, dastardly Captain Hook and the thrill of flight as they zip through the air like magic.

Friendship, the ability to laugh at oneself, and a spirit of adventure are woven into this timeless film. Parents should be aware of several scenes which might be a bit intense for very young children: a kidnap scene by Indians, as well as a croc who pursues Captain Hook relentlessly. Children of all ages who want to stay young like the charming Peter Pan, will enjoy this magical film and we are pleased to award “Peter Pan” the Dove Family Approved Seal for viewers of all ages.
