When two very different radio personalities are thrown together on the same show, things begin to change for both of them. Pepper Sterling from L.A. has been suspended from his show due to his attitude and antics on air. Sandy, on the other hand, is in the small town of Idyllwild, Colorado, where she grew up and is the radio host of her own advice show. The two are like oil and water when it comes to their takes on life.

Although they disagree on some issues that arise on air, they soon find that each can show the other something new. Sandy shows Pepper the importance of family, Christmas, and a small town, while Pepper shows Sandy that it is okay to have fun and relax. As the two start to enjoy each others’ attitudes, they come to realize that they have feelings for each other.
