Billy Gardell portrays police officer Dancer, who at the moment is a file clerk at the station after being demoted. His demotion was caused by what the department thought was a lack in judgment against a local businessman. Still believing he was right, Dancer tries to investigate a young man who was badly beaten up. But that is not his only challenge. He also gets a new partner, Princess, a well-trained K-9 officer who is also facing some problems. Together the two need to find the truth.

As the duo get accustomed to each other, they find out more information that will solve the mystery and the truth of what is going on. Dancer and Princess become the right combination the force needs to investigate the crimes, and along the way they help each other get back on track in life.
