Junior tries so hard to fit in, but is being bullied by all the others worms because he is over-protected by his mom and gets anything he wants. He also finds himself the last to be picked to play the Rolly-poley game even though he has the newest equipment.

When Junior and Nikko are dared to do something they know they should not do, they find themselves above ground and in lots of danger. During their adventure they meet Linda, another worm that has been on the surface for awhile, and together the trio have to save themselves and the worm world from the evil Rolly-poley bug that is trying to hypnotize all the worms in the world.

This adventurous tale of friendship, working together and helping one another out of difficult situations can be enjoyed by the entire family. It shows how bullying and pressure from others can turn into a dangerous situation and how helping others can create great friendships.
