Christian is close to his mom and misses his dad, who is in the military. But he has dreams and his mother encourages him to follow those dreams to play soccer though there are forces trying to stop him. She tells him that the best revenge is success.
When an unfortunate accident happens to his mom and his dad is now on the MIA list, Christian finds himself in the care of a mean-spirited neighbor. Frank tries his best to keep Christian from playing soccer, makes him sleep in the basement and do dishes, and even keeps him from seeing his mom and talking to her on the phone. But Christian is a good boy and encourages others despite his situation, and prays for his parents, his team and even Frank. So it is not surprising that another neighbor is his angel to help him through a most difficult time. This wonderful story is one of encouragement not only for kids but for all of us in today’s world. Lessons include never giving up hope or your dreams, being a team player and encouraging those around you, as well as always believing anything is possible. We award this wonderful movie with the Dove “Family-Approved” Seal for ages 12+ due to language issues.
