The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge out of Water

Life is dandy in Bikini Bottom for SpongeBob Squarepants (Tom Kenny) and his friends Patrick (Bill Fagerbakke), Squidward (Rodger Bumpass), Mr. Krabs (Clancy Brown) and Sandy (Carolyn Lawrence). However, when the top-secret recipe for Krabby Patties is stolen, SpongeBob finds that he must join forces with perpetual adversary Plankton (Mr. Lawrence) and come ashore to battle a fiendish pirate named Burger Beard (Antonio Banderas), who has his own plans for the delicious delicacies.

Dove Review

Once again SpongeBob comes to the Big Screen! This version is part live action and part animation, and filled with the comedy that SpongeBob and his friends bring to the screen. It is sure to entertain all of his many fans.

The gang from Bikini Bottom has to team up with an enemy to find the precious recipe for the Krabby Patties that everyone loves. This is a story about teamwork and not being selfish. SpongeBob and his close friends, along with Plankton, go after the real thief of the recipe, Pirate Burger Beard. But to do this, they must go to shore and take the fight directly to him.

Viewers of the series will laugh at the hilarious tactics and the comments that can be taken many ways. There are several corny jokes and antics for the entire family to enjoy in this ocean full of comedy. We award this movie the Dove “Family-Approved” Seal for all ages.
