Dove Review

Pair with Part 1, containing letters A – M. This film has catchy little songs and rhymes for each letter of the alphabet, teaching kids their letters while also teaching them about prayer and having a thankful heart. The time to pray is all the time! Children will learn prayers for different times of the day: wake-up, morning, noon, playtime, dinner, bedtime, and more. The film incorporates real kids with animated characters to keep your child’s attention. The letter “N” is for nighttime prayers, “Q” is for unique quacking ducks, and “T” is for time—time for dinner, time to obey, time to play, time to listen, and time to pray. Part 2 takes you all the way to Z!

The alphabet is taught using accurate Bible stories and portraying different cultures. Traditional prayers are made fun for kids by changing a word or two.

The film has different activities you can do with your child, including dancing! The Aardvark Dance shows your kids how to get up and move around with each letter. Each lesson teaches a value like friendship, obeying your parents, healthy eating habits, kindness, teamwork, and self-confidence. Every episode includes a cooking segment called “In the Kitchen with Giuseppe,” who is a hilarious zucchini! Giuseppe makes meals for each letter of the alphabet. The mealtime prayers will keep kids focused on being thankful for all types of recipes and foods while giving glory to God.

This film is awarded the Dove “Faith-Friendly” Seal for all ages.
