Dove Review

This entertaining DVD series includes clever ways to retell familiar Bible stories, songs to learn and games to play with your child. Each DVD includes beautiful 3-D animation with fun games to teach coordination, along with vibrant colors and fun bedbug creatures. The Bedbug Singers teach catchy songs to familiar tunes. Buzzard and Sparky are your cute and friendly Bedbug hosts as you join the Bed Bug Gang. They like to fly, float and sing their way through telling you all the Bible stories. They are the best party planners you will ever meet.

This volume of the series includes Bible stories—a la the Bedbugs—about people and places ranging from John the Baptist to Jesus visiting the Temple as a boy, from Jesus’ parables and miracles to Elijah, from Passover to the Israelites’ flight from Egypt. There are many familiar stories that young children will love here, as well as less familiar stories that they’ll love to learn about. Youngsters will also learn about the Fruit of the Spirit, Pentecost, and a series of wedding stories that range from Jacob and Rachel to the parable of the brides who kept, or didn’t keep, their lamps full of oil.

Viewers young and older will enjoy the Bedbug Gang, as well as the songs and wonderful Bible stories. We give this DVD our Dove Seal of approval for all ages.
