Originally spoken in German, this documentary uses voiceover play in many scenes and shows beautiful landscaping from Ireland and Britain, particularly of Dublin and Lindisfarne. “On The Trail of Celtic Saints” features St. Patrick, Rock of Cashel, Brigid, Kevin, Cliona Doris, the Book of Kells, Columcille, the Iona Community, Oswald, Aidan, Lindisfarne, Cuthbert, Crux Vocal, and the Northumbria Community.

The film also features the beautiful songs and prayers used in Celtic Christian history. Viewers will walk where many of the Celtic Christians walked 1,500 years earlier and see the places, buildings and monuments that stand there today. Many small communities still meet regularly at the Celtic Saints meeting places to pray and worship in the traditional style.

The film also teaches the history of the beautiful Celtic crosses. The photography is stunning.
