Dove Review

“The Nutcracker Sweet” is a wonderful animated tale steeped in a world of fantasy and imagination. Marie and Fritz help the Nutcracker break the terrible curse of evil in the land of toys, which is filled with gumdrops, bonbons, and other sweets. The siblings learn to take care of each other as they try to save the toy soldiers from the evil and terrible Mouse King.

The story line teaches a great lesson about siblings getting along together. As Marie and Fritz’s mother says, “Siblings are a gift from above. Treat them sweetly with kindness and love.” Marie and Fritz discover that they need each other, not only to help themselves but also the Nutcracker. “The Nutcracker Sweet” is a charming holiday special that everyone will enjoy.

We award “The Nutcracker Sweet” the Dove “Family-Approved” Seal for all ages.
