Dove Review

This animated tale tells the story of Izzie (whom her father calls Lizbeth), a little fish that has hatched and is bullied by all the other fish in the aquarium. Her father Harold tries to protect her so the human will not take her out of the tank and returned to the ocean, which is what happened to her mother. But when the human catches Izzie, Harold latches on to the net and both he and his daughter are returned to the ocean.

When a volcano explodes under the ocean, the two fish are separated. The boat with the aquarium tips over, and the other fish also end up in the ocean and don’t know what to do. As Izzie and Harold try to find each other again, they make many discoveries about the ocean from which they had been protected. However, with help from some new friends, the two fish are on the right path to reunite with each other, along with a missing member of their little family.

“Izzie’s Way Home” is a fun family movie that offers a lesson in being true to oneself. Izzie learns that appearance doesn’t matter as much as the heart. We are proud to award this film the Dove “Family-Approved” Seal for all ages.
