Tess has been a hardworking woman for the past 15 years at the same company. When Len takes over the business for his father, he does a lot of reorganizing, which affects Tess in the HR department.

Tess decides to go to a conference in Puerto Rico in hopes of finding a new job. The trip ends up being a mistake. Tess leaves her phone in a cab, which causes her reservation to get canceled. Then, her luggage doesn’t arrive with her plane, and her hotel catches fire. She ends up staying with Stella, a cat lady she meets at the beach, and Carter, a man she meets on the plane.

“Stranded in Paradise” is a comical movie about being yourself, taking a leap of faith, and trusting in something greater. It also teaches a lesson in doing what makes you happy — not what makes others happy. It is a wholesome story for the entire family.
