When Calls the Heart: Heart of a Hero

Inspired by the book from best-selling author, Janette Oke.

After Hope Valley learns redemption is possible, Abigail and Frank pursue a romance while a gang of outlaws threatens to test the heart of the town.

Dove Review

“When Calls the Heart: Heart of a Hero” follows “Troubled Hearts” and deals with various issues the characters face. Lee is injured in an accident, and Rosemary caters to him. The gang outside of town threatens young Jesse if he doesn’t get Pastor Frank Hogan to return to his old life and help them rob a bank.

Pastor Frank receives the embrace of the community and their forgiveness when he winds up standing up to the gang, along with other members of the town, including Mountie Jack. Elizabeth encourages the children to do “Kindness Week,” during which they are kind to others. This wonderful series is awarded our Dove “Family-Approved” Seal for all ages.
