“Sea Rescue” is a wonderful educational series that takes the viewer on journeys to California, Florida and South Africa, among other places, to rescue marine animals in harm’s way. Members from SeaWorld, their rescue teams and other volunteers, including some doctors, do their part to help whales, penguins and sea lions.
Whether they are rescuing a sea lion under a police car, a manatee in a drain sewer, a pod of pilot whales washed ashore, penguins caught in an oil spill, or a sea dolphin trapped in fresh water, this group of men and women inspire us all to help these sea creatures that are in danger. The film also shows the dangers sea turtles face as they get off course during migration. The team also helps a dolphin named Dottie that has kidney failure by using techniques that help humans with the same condition. This charming series is very inspiring. We are proud to award “Sea Rescue: Season 1” the Dove “Family-Approved” Seal for all ages.
