Dove Review

Gavin and Mathew are city mice who decide to take an adventure to the ocean. But little do they know the real adventure ahead.

The two city mice meet a group of ship mice who think they are tough and don’t care for the two new guests. But when little Chester mouse shows up to get help from the ship mice to save his family and friends from the evil white weasel Winston, the city mice and ship mice team up to help the little guy. So off they go to Dream Island.

The group meets Chester’s father Clarence and his sister Shelly, who are trying hard to stay safe from the evil weasels. They decide to stick together and fight the terrible bullying Winston and his mean gang of comrades who want to destroy the mice. Along the way there are sacrifices and loss among them, but the little mice stay focused on the task at hand. With help from some friendly birds they meet along the way, they fight.

This is a story of adventure, new friendships, helping others and good prevailing over evil. It is charming at times and may be a bite scary for very young children, but it is an adventure for the entire family. We award the Dove Family-Approved Seal for all ages to “Air Bound.”
