Dove Review

Charles Wills (Van Johnson) has returned to Paris after being gone for a few years. As he walks the streets of the beautiful city, he relives the memories of his life there after WWII that has lead him to this moment of his life.

His memory of a walk when a beautiful girl kissed him in the street as everyone in Paris was celebrating their liberation returns later, as he is invited to a party and sees the young woman again. This chance meeting brings them together as a couple. This classic story tells of their life together in Paris and the trials that their life together takes on each of them and others around them over the years.

The movie is from 1954 and represents a different time. It stars some well-known actors of the time such as Van Johnson, Elizabeth Taylor, Donna Reed, Walter Pigeon, Roger Moore, and Eva Gabor. The story is one of intriguing love and romance. We award the Dove Family-Approved seal for ages 12-plus.
