A unique and rapid walk through the history of the Christian church, as it relates to the prophecy of Daniel 2.
Daniel Unsealed is am amazing peek into Bible prophecy and how the history of various countries have played a big role leading up to the end times and today’s current world systems. The film makes great use of maps and visuals, including the golden image of Nebuchadnezzar, and animation that opens up various parts of other historic countries, their temples, and buildings. Various Scriptures are used and different prophets of old are revealed in a fresh way, prophets such as Daniel, Isaiah and Nahum.
The narrator does a good job in teaching about Nebuchadnezzar’s image made of gold and how it represented various countries that ruled over Israel—the Babylonian Empire, the Medo-Persian Empire, the Greek and Roman Empires. Various interesting facts are shared along the way, such as that Alexander the Great was a general by age 18 and king at age 20. He also died at a young age with his vast kingdom remaining. The stone that was cut out without hands and smites the toes of Nebuchadnezzar’s golden image—and takes over the world—is the hope given for all, the coming kingdom of Christ and his futuristic righteous reign.
Anyone who is curious about coming world events and what all will happen will find this most interesting. What does God’s word have to say about end times?
The film concludes with comments about the recent world wars and the coming kingdom of Christ. We are happy to award our Faith Friendly Dove Seal for All Ages to this wonderful film, while noting it is not intended for the very young. Young kids would find it difficult to follow. But for all others, it is a fascinating look into the past—and the future.
