As a child who lost her parents at a young age, Chloe moves through life with her arms folded across her chest and a face full of dramatic makeup in an effort to hide the pain. She was entrusted to her grandmother to raise her, and though her grandmother is determined to introduce Chloe to the Lord, those efforts are undermined by the opinions of some of the church people. Chloe’s grandmother’s persistency and consistency to love Chloe without an agenda helps break down Chloe’s self-protective walls and invites her into a relationship. Then, the unimaginable happens, and Chloe loses yet another person that she dearly loves. As a stipulation of receiving the inheritance that her grandmother left her, Chloe has to agree to attend a Christian college. What awaits her there will change her life forever, for the better.
