Dove Review

The story of Jenesys takes us inside the sweet heart of a child who is delighted in God’s word. We meet Jenesys as a little child during the time her father introduces her to the joys of prayer and reading the Bible, and we grow with her as she becomes a young girl who enjoys exploring the Bible on her own. We travel with our young friend as she discovers the wonderful stories of creation and miracles, and even as she has deep encounters with our Lord Jesus Christ.

Jenesys is a brave citizen of her playground and protects her friends, while humbly staying true to the words Jesus teaches her. This story has enough to explore that you can find something new to talk about each time you read it. Talk to your little ones about the living word that changes us on the inside; let Jenesys show them how strong we can be when the world challenges us, and share with your child the truth about living with Jesus as your friend every day. And of course, that we are each a beloved child of God.

The book is written with a gentle and loving tone in perfect child-like language. And the message is wonderful enough to even be an important reminder for the older ones who might be doing the reading! The illustrations are as lovely as a classic Disney story and your child will love their new friend Jenesys (who is very princess-like!)

Dove is delighted to give The Book of Jenesys: A child of the Most High an enthusiastic Dove Approved All Ages.
