A dog raps as he teaches. No, we’re not talking Snoop Doggy Dogg here, but rather Professor Twiggles (or is it Captain Twiggles?) who teaches children what Africa is like. Two other dogs named Moxie and Bo, inexplicably driving convertibles, are ostensibly the students. Bo even wears a hat as he motors to greater knowledge.
But make no mistake about it—the real students will be the children who watch.
Even big kids can learn a little something from these. It’s one thing to become familiar with animals we’ve all heard much about—baboons, badgers, gerbils, rhinoceroses, antelope, cheetahs, jaguars, frogs, ostriches, guineafowl, hedgehogs, gorillas, hyenas and leopards—but have you ever heard of an okapi, which looks like a mix between a zebra and a giraffe and has a long tongue that can reach leaves high above? Did you know penguins inhabit warm Africa and not just cold Antarctica? All this is sure to keep children glued.
The Dove Take:
Pup School is cool for any canine-wannabes wanting to develop their minds.
