Letters from the Heart introduces Hope (Kat Fairaway), a city-loving, career-driven architect, who must return to her little hometown of Cherry Valley after her Nona unexpectedly passes away. What she thought would be a five-day trip—tops—turns into a full-blown adventure to unearth Nona’s past and save her town.
After Nona’s funeral, Hope visits Cherry Valley’s top lawyer, Lewis (Taylor Napier), who has reviewed Nona’s will and discovered that she left Hope with $2 million—but only if Hope is willing to stay in Cherry Valley for one year. At first, Hope struggles with the decision to stay or return to her city boyfriend, Curtis (Anthony W. Preston). But once a local piece of architectural history is threatened by a weighty construction company’s plans to build a mall, Hope’s homegrown convictions lead her to stay in Cherry Valley alongside Lewis and fight anyone and anything that threatens to take away the quaint community she calls home.
Regardless of a predictable love triangle, Letters from the Heart showcases bravery in the face of blatant rebuttals, loyalty to family and friends, and the importance of remembering home.
