Dove Review

Dove Review:

Best Times tells the story of Mr. Stafford (George Perrotta) and Dr. Bentley (Clarence Felder) who host and operate an art center for children with terminal illnesses and disabilities. Here, the children are free to escape doctor visits and the constant talk of medical procedures and bills to explore their creativity.

Mr. Stafford is hosting an upcoming art fundraiser to keep the center running, and the children are asked to showcase a piece of artwork that describes their best times. While preparing for the art fundraiser, Mr. Stafford’s cancer returns and he must take time off for surgery and recovery. This doesn’t stop Dr. Bentley and the children from showcasing their best times artwork, which revolves around their time with Mr. Stafford at the center!

The Dove Take:

Mr. Stafford’s art center for children battling terminal illnesses and other disabilities creates an encouraging atmosphere that promises hope for community and the promise that love surpasses the toughest challenges.
