Dove Review

Ella and Henry are best friends who love doing magic together. In fact, they decide to host their own circus and feature their favorite magic tricks, but, when a new boy, Johnny, moves into the neighborhood, Henry buddies up with Johnny and seems to forget Ella.

The boys begin riding bikes together and playing sword fights, leaving Ella out of all of the fun. Soon, Ella becomes jealous, especially when she thinks Henry is blowing off their circus practice, and she tells him that he is no longer her best friend. When she confronts Henry and makes him pick between her and Johnny, Henry runs away. Now, Ella and Johnny must join together to find Henry and restore the meaning of friendship.

Ella Bella Bingo showcases what kids face: frustration, peer pressure, and even loneliness. However, this film offers healthy solutions to these challenges and even features some nostalgic playground scenes that parents can enjoy. This film is awarded Dove-approval for All Ages.

The Dove Take:

Ella Bella Bingo is a childhood adventure that offers strong themes of friendship and forgiveness, teaching children the valuable lesson of respecting each other.
