Dove Review

Here is another adventure to be enjoyed! We have the adventures of Rad the rabbit, Free Range the chicken, bad chicken Cooper, Master Wattles, and all the rest of the martial arts gang. They are all in for some new battles, martial arts fighting, and even a few mishaps and laughs along the way. They have to overcome the bad and “little” ninjas!

A new character is introduced in this film, Wendy, who is sad when Free Range doesn’t remember her from their past as children. But he finally does and she clings to him like a child to a Teddy bear. Rad will have many challenges ahead as she is believed to be the “Illustrious One”. She is told to pick up the golden sceptre. However, not everyone thinks that way and later on she has to run for her life. But she has good old Free Range and Master Wattles to help her out.

There is a plot of searching for the “crimson egg” as well as a “salt egg” showing up in the story near the conclusion. The movie does a good job in making it clear that friends look out for one another and that we couldn’t get along without others to help us out in our “journey” of life.

A lot of martial arts fighting with punching and kicking goes down, and a character is grabbed by the throat. There’s a bit of name-calling too. Parents should consult our content listing to make their own informed decisions. But the film features important themes along with comedy and over-the-top fighting, in such a way as it is not scary. So we are presenting it our Dove seal for All Ages.

The Dove Take:

This action-packed adventure has several fight scenes but showcases the big hearts of those who love their friends and have their backs.
