Dove Review

Queen Bee proclaims that Sunny and Petal are now Bee Geniuses, which means they are in charge of learning more about bees and how to keep their own bee colony alive.

Sunny and Petal are introduced to Captain Billy Bee who talks to them about the science behind bee colonies, different types of bees (worker bees, queen bees, and drone bees), and the basic anatomy of bees.

While Bee Geniuses: The Life of Bees is meant to serve as an education tool for children, this cartoon presents life as an evolutionary process that leaves no room for God or our innate, special purpose. Unfortunately, this message isn’t appropriate for children of any age, nor can evolutionary ideas align with biblical principles for adults. Because of this, this film is Not Dove-approved.

The Dove Take:

While this film is meant to educate children about the lives of bees, heavy evolutionary themes do not align with biblical principles.
